Scientists from the National Institute of Mental Health (USA) concluded that ex-military are twice as likely to commit suicide than people who are not related to military service.
For 12 years, American scientists have observed the changes in behaviour and 320,000 men-the military and came to the conclusion that in the special risk group includes soldiers who served in the homeland in the period from 1917 to 1994. During this period, soldiers are twice as likely to commit suicide compared to the male half of the civilian population of the United States.
